The central government established the Lebaran holiday to 12 days. This discourse will have an impact on the industrial sector. Especially the textile industry. Because all this time they have to operate for 24 hours.

Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) Solo, Lilik Setiawan explained, the addition of Lebaran holiday to 12 days is no problem, if planned carefully and socialized 3 months earlier. Because the manufacturing industry is most affected by the policy.

"With the discourse, the increase in labor cost increase could reach 100 percent. Because included in the category of overtime to be paid two-fold, "said Lilik.

Such a policy also impacts on the additional cost of logistics. With this sudden change, disrupting the entire work plan. Especially the delivery time of export products. "How we should boost exports if the government actually hampers it. This is very detrimental to the blueprint plan of Indonesia 4.0 in boosting exports, "Lilik complained.

Vice Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Entrepreneurs, Wahyu Hariyanto added, Lebaran holidays that increase only impact on the reduction of working days. So if there are employees who enter, there must be overtime compensation. Moreover, when Lebaran arrived, the industry was used to the production stop.

"It's just the length and short Lebaran holiday is adjusted in each company. If the addition is only about 3 days. Two days before Lebaran and one day after, "beber Wahyu.

It is recognized Revelation if later it is certain there is a decrease in production for some sectors. But with only 3 days is not too significant. For companies with regular production will not be widespread. Unlike the case with companies that produce according to reservations. Because they have to catch a deadline for the order to finish.

"Most production decline is not up to 10 percent. Because usually Lebaran holiday is 10 days. It's 12 days. The addition of a little, "he said.

API Solo Menilai Libur Panjang Berpotensi ke Industri Tekstil

Pemerintah pusat menetapkan kebijakan libur Lebaran menjadi 12 hari. Wacana ini bakal berdampak pada sektor industri. Khususnya industri tekstil.

Khususnya delivery time  produk ekspor.

Penambahannya sedikit,” tandasnya.
