President Director of Sritex, Iwan Setiawan, said that the national textile industry as a whole will still increase, especially considering the tendency to increase customer demand and the addition of customer base.

According to Iwan, countries in Southeast Asia, contributed nine percent to the global textile market share. While in Southeast Asia, Indonesia contributes 30 percent to the textile market share.

"The performance of Indonesia's textile exports, over the past few years shows an average increase of 7.9 percent per year," said Sritex President Director Iwan Setiawan after PT Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex) General Meeting of Shareholders in Solo yesterday .

At PT Sri Rejeki Isman's (Sritex) AGM in Solo, decided to divide the dividends of Rp 163.6 billion for the company's net income in 2017. The dividend significantly increased 193 percent from the previous year's Rp 55.78 billion.

"The dividends are distributed for 20,452,176,844 shares and will be paid June 21 to the shareholders," said Iwan Setiawan.

With the increase in profit during 2017, he said, the company in Sukoharjo was able to show stronger and increasing performance.

Sritek posted sales of 759.3 million dollars over 2017, up 12 percent from 2016 sales of 679.9 million dollars. Total export value of the company last year was 405 million US dollars and contributed 53.3 percent of total sales with a 13.4 percent increase compared to 2016 exports.

"The company's total sales increase during 2017 is a success of its strategy, including increased production capacity, production and operational efficiency and focus on selling value-added products," he explained.

Sritex Leads

Compared to some domestic competitors, said Iwan, Sritex still leads the market in 2017 by posting more total sales than competitors.

Meanwhile, in public exposure following the Annual GMS, 2018 Sritex targets a 35 to 40 percent sales increase. So total sales in 2018 already exceeded the number 1 billion US dollars. "We are very optimistic to achieve the target," said Iwan.

Related to the expansion of the export market, he said, the program succeeded in recalling the increase of export sales contribution to 53.3 percent of total sales during 2017 from the previous 52.5 percent. With increasing production capacity, by 2018, Sritex targets export sales to contribute 56 to 58 percent of total sales.

Finance Director of PT Sri Rejeki, Isman Allan Moran Severino added, Sritex's financial performance also proved to be very solid and positive. Some financial indicators such as gross profit margin, operating profit margin, and net income margin were respectively 22.6 percent, 17.7 percent and nine percent.

The margin increased from 2016, 21.4 percent, 17.0 percent and 8.7 percent, respectively. Thus, Ebitda's margin automatically increased from 19.9 percent to 21.5 percent compared to last year. "We will continue to improve efficiency in both production and operation processes to improve future performance," Allan said.

Indonesia Kuasai 30 Persen Tekstil ASEAN

"Kinerja ekspor tekstil Indonesia, selama beberapa tahun terakhir menunjukan peningkatan rata-rata 7,9 persen per tahun," kata Presiden Direktur Sritex, Iwan Setiawan, usai Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham (RUPS) PT Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex) di Solo, kemarin.

Sritek membukukan penjualan 759,3 juta dolar AS selama 2017, naik 12 persen dari penjualan 2016 yakni 679,9 juta dolar AS.
