The Chinese policy that will impose high import duty to the United States will provide limited benefits for textile producers in Central Java (Central Java).

Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) of Semarang City, Agung Wahono, who was mentioned as Panda Affairs, will make the cost of producing the company becomes cheaper. However, the condition will not be too serious for the export and competitiveness of Indonesian products, especially Central Java in the global market.

"Our estimate, the cost of production will be reduced to a maximum of 25%. Because all this time the US became the important person of our cotton. But for the benefit of the relatively limited side, "he said, Wednesday (20/06/2018).

International nutrition statement (Apindo) Central Java, Dedy Mulyadi Ali. According to him, companies that will benefit from China's cotton retention policy to the US are those engaged in the spinning sector of yarn and cotton fabrics.

"But the profit is also limited. Causes such as importers like the US, imports of cotton materials from materials in the US. So it is with China, "he said.

For the textile and other textile (TPT) sectors, Dedy will not have a significant impact on the cost of reduced production. Because the potential price in the global market will occur globally.

As a result, the condition will contribute similarly in Indonesia in TPT sector such as Vietnam, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka

Bea Kapas China Untungkan Industri Tekstil Jateng

Pernyataan senada diungkapkan Wakil Ketua Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia (Apindo) Jateng, Dedy Mulyadi Ali.
