Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Entrepreneurs Hariyadi Sukamdani assess Indonesia can steal opportunities in the middle of a trade war that occurred between China and the United States.

Nevertheless, Hariyadi said Indonesia's export performance is still lagging behind compared to neighboring countries such as Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand. Exports of textiles for example, Indonesia is still the highest of Vietnam which is able to pocket the export value of US $ 20 billion.

In the midst of these conditions, he continued, he considered the need for regulation in the country that supports the exporters. The reason, the utilization of export opportunities should start with a thorough improvement.

"There must be seriousness of regulation," he added.

According to Business records, United States President Donald Trump has decided to impose significant tariffs on imported goods from China according to a government official of Uncle Sam's statement.

Trump has revealed a revised initial listing aiming for US $ 50 billion of Chinese goods. The list will contain 800 product categories or drop from an initial number of 1,300.

Reported by Reuters, Trump no longer trust China's influence over North Korea. The reason, the United States (US) has opened a direct line of communication with the nuclear-armed countries.

Ketua Apindo Sebut Indonesia Miliki Peluang Dari Perang Dagang
