The issuance of a Joint Decree on National Holidays and the 2018 Together Leave which decided that on June 27 stipulated as National Holidays further add to the schedule of holidays in June.

This is considered unprofitable by industry players, especially Food and Beverage (Mamin) and Textile and Textile Products (TPT) industries.

Therefore, the more holiday schedules that increase in this June, the more make the businessmen cost more than gain profits aka tekor.

"With an increasing holiday it means we have to hire employees overtime. This means we have to pay extra costs, while people's consumption power especially after the Eid decreases drastically," said Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association

He also said, in addition to overtime costs, it also must spend logistics costs are usually increased in the holiday. To that end, the entrepreneurs asked that the government not set a holiday abruptly.

"We needed to reset everything, the shutdown process, the import export schedule schedule, it would take at least 60 days before we get news suddenly the holiday will certainly disturb everything," added Ade.

The same is also expressed by the Chairman of the Association of Food and Beverage Entrepreneurs of Indonesia (GAPMMI) Adhi S Lukman. According to him, the food industry has the potential to lose 30% of its profits. Because, Mamin industry is very dependent on food and beverage delivery every day.

Pengusaha Tekstil Mengeluh Banyak Libur Membuat Rugi
