Indonesian Batik Became Favorite in Tanzania PDF Print E-mail

Various Indonesian products are presented by the Indonesian Embassy in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) during the 42nd International Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), which was held on 28 June - 13 July 2018.

 

Batik, satay, and cassava cake cake to be excellent in the event held at Mwalimu J.K.Nyerere Trade Fair Grounds. Batik is one of the main attractions of Indonesian booth in Dar es Salaam, considering the population of Tanzania likes to wear clothes similar to batik.

 

Quoting the press release of the Indonesian Embassy in Dar es Salaam on KompasTravel on Tuesday (10/7/2018), the visitors really liked the typical Indonesian batik motifs as well as the excellent quality of stitching clothes.

 

In addition to batik, a number of typical Indonesian culinary products are also presented. Among others satay, cassava layer cake, rendang, tempe stews, bakwan, onde-onde, and fried banana.

 

The visitors were amazed by the cassava cake they served, knowing that the abundant cassava in Tanzania could be processed in such a way.

 

Even a number of visitors initially less believe that the cake is made of cassava.

 

Up to July 2, 2018, Indonesian culinary received 72 responses from Tanzanian society. A total of 52 of them stated that Indonesian food served is very delicious and 16 of them declared delicious.

Batik Indonesia Jadi Primadona di Tanzania

 

Berbagai produk khas Indonesia disajikan KBRI Dar es Salaam ( Tanzania) saat Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF) ke-42, yang digelar pada 28 Juni - 13 Juli 2018.

 

Batik, sate, dan kue lapis Singkong menjadi primadona dalam acara yang digelar di Mwalimu J.K.Nyerere Trade Fair Grounds itu. Batik merupakan salah satu daya tarik utama booth Indonesia di Dar es Salaam, mengingat penduduk Tanzania gemar menggunakan baju yang serupa dengan batik.

 

Mengutip siaran pers KBRI Dar es Salaam pada KompasTravel, Selasa (10/7/2018), para pengunjung sangat menyukai motif batik khas Indonesia serta kualitas jahitan baju yang prima.

 

Selain batik, sejumlah produk kuliner khas Indonesia juga disajikan. Antara lain sate, kue lapis singkong, rendang, semur tempe, bakwan, onde-onde, dan pisang goreng.

 

Para pengunjung terpukau dengan kue lapis singkong yang disajikan, karena baru mengetahui bahwa singkong yang melimpah di Tanzania dapat diolah sedemikian rupa.

 

Bahkan sejumlah pengunjung awalnya kurang percaya bahwa kue tersebut terbuat dari singkong.

 

Hingga tanggal 2 Juli 2018, kuliner Indonesia mendapatkan 72 tanggapan dari masyarakat Tanzania. Sebanyak 52 di antaranya menyatakan makanan Indonesia yang disajikan sangat lezat dan 16 di antaranya menyatakan lezat.

Sejumlah makanan khas Indonesia juga disajikan kepada para pengunjung guna mendalami tingkat penerimaan masyarakat lokal terhadap cita rasa kuliner Indonesia.

 

Booth Indonesia dalam pameran itu juga menampilkan produk dari berbagai perusahaan dan industri Indonesia, termasuk tekstil, makanan ringan, kebutuhan bayi, dan perlengkapan elektronika industri.
