Navy Base on Dumai has succeeded in thwarting smuggling of illegal textiles and alcohol. The TNI captured three ships in the operation. The three vessels secured were KM Rena GT 25 carrying 20 tons of illegal textiles, KM Pazri III GT 3, and KM Alni GT 3 carrying cargo of alcohol in the Enok Dalam River.


The failure of textile smuggling was carried out on August 4 in the waters of Cawan Island. Whereas the failure of alcoholic smuggling was carried out on August 9 in the Enok Dalam River


"Saturday, August 4, 2018, in the waters of Cawan Island, Lanal Dumai caught KM Rena GT 25 carrying textile loads from Batam. This case needs to be explored regarding the origin of the item. Then within a few days, precisely on Thursday, August 9, 2018, in the Enok Dalam River, Lanal Dumai caught KM Pazri III and KM Alni with a charge of hundreds of boxes of various brands of alcohol, "said Danlanal Dumai, Ltk E) Yose Aldino.

TNI AL Gagalkan Penyelundupan Tekstil Ilegal di Dumai


Pangkalan TNI AL Dumai telah berhasil menggagalkan penyeludupan tekstil ilegal dan miras. TNI menangkap tiga kapal dalam operasi tersebut.


Tiga kapal yang diamankan adalah KM Rena GT 25 yang membawa muatan 20 ton tekstil ilegal, KM Pazri III GT 3, dan KM Alni GT 3 yang membawa muatan miras di Sungai Enok Dalam.


Penggagalan penyelundupan tekstil ini dilakukan pada 4 Agustus di perairan Pulau Cawan. Sedangkan penggagalan penyelundupan miras dilakukan pada 9 Agustus di Sungai Enok Dalam


“Sabtu, 4 Agustus 2018, di perairan Pulau Cawan, Lanal Dumai menangkap KM Rena GT 25 yang membawa muatan tekstil dari Batam. Kasus ini perlu didalami terkait asal-usul barang tersebut. Kemudian dalam selang beberapa hari, tepatnya pada Kamis, 9 Agustus 2018, di Sungai Enok Dalam, Lanal Dumai menangkap KM Pazri III dan KM Alni dengan muatan ratusan kardus miras berbagai merek,” ujar Danlanal Dumai Ltk Laut (E) Yose Aldino.


Dia mengatakan keberhasilan ini juga berkat peran serta masyarakat sekitar. Ia berharap masyarakat memberikan informasi ke nomor hotline yang disediakan.
