PT Pan Brothers Tbk (PBRX) continues to boost existing production capacity. Although the expansion of synthetic wooven plants is delayed, the company continues to increase garment production due to growing demand.

Anne Patricia Sutanto, Deputy President Director of PT Pan Brothers Tbk, said that production expansion would continue, but the focus would be to increase PBRX's turn over sales. "So we push efficiency and production, later it will increase turn over," he said.

Moreover, said Anne, overseas and domestic demand is surging. "We can say that sales (PBRX) will increase by 15% this year," he said.

For factory utilities at this time, Anne said PBRX's factory production capacity is full 100%. "What we have now is how about the existing composition of man power, we increase the output, of course the sales will also grow," he explained.

Previously, in 2017 yesterday the management stated that the PBRX plant's production capacity is around 90 million pieces per year. "Right now there are around 100 million pieces (per year)," Anne said.

As for the delay in the planned construction of a synthetic woven plant it is inevitable. Because Anne said, the expansion plan is still awaiting the stability of the world market where political tension and trade wars are still going on.

The plan for the construction of the synthetic woven plant will support Pan Brothers so as not to depend on imported raw materials. So far, the portion of imported synthetic woven can reach between 70% -80% of the total raw material requirements.

"While the total material we import is almost 85% of the needs," Anne explained.

Anne Patricia Sutanto, Wakil Presiden Direktur PT Pan Brothers Tbk mengatakan ekspansi produksi tetap dilakukan, hanya saja fokusnya meningkatkan turn over sales PBRX.
