PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL) or Sritex will maintain the share of export sales to Asia by 55% to 60% this year from the company's total export sales. The company's export target is 58% to 60% of the company's sales.

Sritex Corporate Secretary Welly Salam said sales potential in the Asian region was good. Although at the beginning the company considered sales to the western region to be more promising.

"Last year the portion in Asia was 60%, while America and Europe were 12% and 15% respectively," said Welly.

According to him, with two acquisitions of two new factories this year, Sritex will be able to maintain company sales in the Asian region. This is because these two factories have export markets to Japan and several other Asian regions.

The company currently has a market share in Asian countries and regions such as Malaysia, South Korea, China, Japan, the Middle East and Turkey. Sales to the country also vary depending on demand.

"Japan, South Korea and China are threads. The Middle East is raw cloth and a little to Turkey. Finished fabrics to Europe, America and Asia too," Welly explained.
