Improve the trade balance, the government will encourage textile exports to the United States (US) and Australia. According to the Minister of Trade Enggartiasto Lukita, the export potential of the two countries can reach 20% -25%.

Paramitra Alfa Sekuritas Senior Analyst William Siregar said the government's plan to boost textile exports would certainly have a positive impact on the performance of the issuer. However, market participants also need to pay attention to the realization of the plan.

"All efforts are made by the government, including encouraging coal production and exports to improve the trade balance, but in reality all must be seen in its realization," William said.

In addition, for market participants who will glance at the textile sector issuers, it is necessary to consider and see the issuer's raw material costs to encourage exports. Especially in the midst of a weakening of the rupiah exchange rate which can be a burden for issuers that have large debts in the form of US dollars.

For information, the movement of the stock index of PT Pan Brothers Tbk (PBRX) and PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL) surged in yesterday's trade. This is because, the textile sector has enough to contribute to supporting the trade balance to a deeper level of deficit.
