API Chairman Ade Sudrajat, Tuesday (10/16/2018), explained that the government policy to raise the UMP shows a balance between employers and workers. This can provide good sentiment for investors.

Ade said, at present, there are no new investors in the textile industry. In fact, investment must be developed so that this sector is increasingly competitive in the face of global markets.

To attract investors, said Ade, the government needs to make the new policy especially progressive intensive. For example, tax holiday policy for labor-intensive industries. The policy is very effective in attracting investment in the textile industry.

"Depending on the procedure, if the procedures such as public transportation must go through various ministries, it may have little impact on investment. But if one stop can be deflated," Ade said

Setelah Gaji Minimum Naik, Tekstil Minta Tambah Insentif
