And in his statement, the Ministry of Industry annulled or denied the news, the article, direct confirmation that was done revealed that Nike did not stop cooperation with garment companies in Indonesia.

"That's not true. Already, I haven't checked. I have checked from Nike Singapore, "he said in response to the question of garment companies in Indonesia which reportedly were stopped so that it would have a significant impact on unemployment because manufacturers who have the symbol 'checklist' have high absorptive capacity for human resources in the local area .

Director General of Chemical, Textile and Multifarious Industries of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) Achmad Sigit Dwiwahjono immediately dismissed the news. His side has confirmed directly to Nike in Singapore.

The result, based on Nike's information received by  Ministry of Industry, the sports product company from the United States (US) did not stop working with Indonesian garment companies.

Contacted separately, Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) Ade Sudrajat, as chairman who accommodated the industry said, Nike considered cooperation with garment companies in Indonesia was still profitable. That was confirmed to Nike.

"If during production from Indonesia is profitable, why do I (Nike) have to stop. Once the answer is, "said Ade Sudrajat in response to the question of the Indonesian garment company which he said was decided to cooperate with the manufacturer of sports accessories Nike.

Ade also added that the Nike had ensured cooperation with the 19 garment companies was still continuing. "Still, it still continues," he added.

With the statement that 19 Indonesian garment companies did not experience the breakdown and work relations and production of Nike sports accessories, the government's concern to lay off thousands of company employees 19 did not happen.

Bagaimana Kerjasama 19 Perusahaan Garmen Indonesia  Dengan Nike?
