A total of 268 persons with disabilities participated in 3 in 1 training (training, certification, and work placement) in the Garment and Footwear Industry. This is in the form of the realization of the Ministry of Industry with the Ministry of Social Affairs which has carried out the MOU at the end of December 2019.

 

The Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Airlangga Hartanto, said that the 3 in 1 training this time was directed at the garment and footwear sector. This article has been able to provide a significant contribution to the national economy so far, both through export foreign exchange revenues and the absorption of large numbers of workers. Moreover, the textile industry is one of the sectors prioritized for development in entering the industrial era 4.0.

 

"The hope is that this first diploma can continue until the next wave. They have undergone 3 weekly training and 100 peraen friends with disabilities can enter 12 companies under the Indonesian Textile Association (API). For that we continue to encourage industrial companies to provide employment opportunities for persons with disabilities in accordance with the field of work being promoted, "said Airlangga after the opening of the 3 in 1 Training for Persons with Disabilities at the Academy of Community Textiles and Textile Products, Surakarta.

 

Airlangga said, Diklat was developed in 9 provinces, in cities that have a fairly large textile industry, one of which is Surakarta and its surroundings. He said that in 2019 72,000 people would be involved in the 3 in 1 Training program. The Ministry of Industry noted that the performance of the textile and textile products (TPT) industry was positive. Judging from the export value of national textile products, it reached USD 11.12 billion in January - October 2018. It rose 7.1 percent compared to the same period the previous year. A similar thing was felt in the city of Solo. According to Surakarta Kora Trade Office data, textile products balance the largest contribution in terms of export value, which reached USD 20.9 million.

 

On the same occasion, Minister of Social Affairs, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita revealed that this program was a form of sympathy from the government's commitment to fulfill the rights of persons with disabilities. So that this should be utilized as well as possible for people with disabilities to improve their welfare and quality of life.

 

 

Disabilitas Ikuti Diklat 3 in 1 Industri Garmen dan Alas Kaki

 

 

Sebanyak 268 penyandang disabilitas mengikuti diklat 3 in 1 (pelatihan, sertifikasi, dan penempatan kerja) Industri Garmen dan Alas Kaki. Hal tersebut bentuk dari realisasi Kementrian Perindustrian dengan Kementrian Sosial yang sudah melakukan MOU pada akhir Desember 2019 lalu.

 

Menteri Perindustrian Republik Indonesia, Airlangga Hartanto mengatakan Diklat 3 in 1 kali ini diarahkan pada sektor industri garmen dan alas kaki. Pasalbya selama ini sektor tersebut mampuemberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi perekonomian basional, baik melalui penerimaan devisa ekspor maupun penyerapan tenaga kerja yang jumlahnya banyak. Terlebih industri tekstil menjadi salah satu sektor yang diprioritaskan pengembanganbya dalam memasuki era industri 4.0.

 

“Harapannya digelomvang pertama ini bisa berlanjut hingga gelombang selanjutnya. Mereka sudah menjalani pelatihan selama 3 mingguan dan 100 peraen teman-teman penyandang disabilitas bisa masuk ke 12 perusahaan di bawah Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia (API). Untuk itu kami terus mendorong perusahaan-perusahaan industri untuk memberikan kesempatan kerja bagi penyandang disabilitas sesuai dengan bidang pekerjaan yang dilajukan,” ujar Airlangga usai pembukaan Diklat 3 in 1 bagi Penyandang Disabilitas di Akademi Komunitas Tekstil dan Produk Tekstil, Surakarta.

 

Dikatakan Airlangga, Diklat tersebut dilajukan di 9 provinsi, di kota-kota yang memiliki industri tekstil cukup besar, salah satunya Surakarta dan sekitarnya. Pihaknya menargetkan di 2019 sebanyak 72 ribu orang terlibatvdalam program Diklat 3 in 1 tersebut.  Kementrian Perindustrian mencatat, kinerja industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) positif. Dilihat dari nilai ekspor TPT nasional menembus hingga USD 11,12 miliar pada Januari – Oktober 2018. Naik 7,1 persen dibanding periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya. Hal serupa juga dirasakan di Kota Solo. Menurut data Dinas Perdagangan Kora Surakarta, komoditas TPT menyimbang kontribusi terbesar dari segi nilai ekspor, yaitu mencapai USD 20,9 juta.

 

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Menteri Sosial, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita mengungkapkan program ini sebagai bentuk nyara dari komitmen pemerintah dalam memenuhi hak para penyandang disabilitas. Sehingga hal ini garus dimanfaatkan sebaik-baiknya bagi penyandabg disabilitas agar dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kualitas hidup mereka.
