Encouraging business growth and business development, PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL) prepares capital expenditure or capital expenditure (capex) in 2019 to reach USD40 million. The majority of the capex will be used for SRIL's regular maintenance costs.

Corporate Communications SRIL Joy Citra Dewi said, performance growth throughout 2018 had exceeded expectations of around 35%. To break this number back in 2019, it will more or less prepare a capex that is not much different from 2018. "One of the significant growth factors of this performance is from inorganic growth through the acquisition of two companies in 2018," Joy said

Previously the company had acquired two textile companies, namely PT Primayudha Mandirijaya and PT Bitratex Industries Pte Ltd. The value of the acquisition of the two companies reached USD85 million. Furthermore, to carry out inorganic growth, Joy said that this year he would still wait and see. Seeing the situation going forward, especially after the political year. In addition, according to him, looking for a company that has the appropriate value and similar is not an easy matter.

This accelerated growth is taken because organic growth takes a lot of time and money. On the other side of the business side, the acceleration of growth with acquisitions has a lot of added value such as the established market. With the acquisition, the factory capacity for spinning increased 200,000 to 300,000 spindles per year to 1.1 million spindles per year. The alias capacity of the SRIL plant for spinning and garment products has reached 90%, while raw fabric and finished fabric products are still below 90%.

Sritex Siapkan Belanja Modal USD40 Juta
