Textile entrepreneurs ask government to have regulations so that MSMEs are more bankable PDF Print E-mail

The government is asked to continue to develop the business of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) which have been the pillars of the national economy. One of them is by facilitating the requirements for granting loans so that the capital of MSMEs can increase.

"It must be bankable enough with a NPWP, it has been completed (obtained capital). That if it has MSMEs, has an NPWP, and its turnover for example IDR 50 million per month can be helped," he said

Furthermore, Ade said, in developing MSMEs, coordination between various parties needs to be done so that there is no overlapping of regulations. Because he said, currently the development of MSMEs is still carried out in various ministries and agencies. "The development of MSMEs is still overlapping. It should not overlap, it must be at one point," he explained.

Therefore, according to him there must be a platform that provides very simple licensing guarantees. And the form must be in the form of legislation. "We need to make the UMKM law according to the current conditions and situations. It must be organized and directed," he added.

He also sees the need for up-to-date data on the development of MSMEs in Indonesia. These data can later be used as benchmarks and plans for developing MSMEs in the future.

"Data must be updated, for example, how many thousands of MSMEs are going up in class. That is also to see the success of our economy, how much we are unemployed. Because of course it will have an impact.

Ade Sudrajat Usman, chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API), said that many MSME players could not develop because of difficulties in accessing capital to banks, because they were considered unable to meet bank requirements.
