Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) Ade Sudrajat resigned when buying Indonesian palm oil with Europe spread to the export of textiles and textile products (TPT). "We participated in the government's decision. If finally there was a war, we were willing," Ade said.

Ade cited so far the textile export market to Europe is quite large. The value is US $ 2 billion per year. The percentage of textile exports to Europe reaches 20 percent of the total textile exports.

However, the trend is currently declining. The reason for textile exports to Europe is 11 to 25 percent. Making Indonesian products less competitive. Lost with Bangladesh and Vietnam products.

To fix it, it is necessary to have a trade agreement in order to enter 0 percent. "Our efforts are doing, by conducting trade agreements. But now the condition is getting worse with the oil palm problem, "he said.

I Hope, Problems Handle Well. Prioritizing negotiations, not boycotting each other. The palm oil industry must also be more creative. For example, making more derivative products such as soap, medicine, paracillin and other household products.

The chaotic projection of oil palm can spread to other products previously conveyed by Deputy General Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Shinta W. Kamdani. "If there is a mutual boycott, it can disrupt the performance of other products," Shinta said.

Shinta also hopes that palm oil chaos will be approved by prioritizing negotiations. Because, if there is a trade war, Indonesian finances can be disrupted. According to him, based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Europe's largest market exports Indonesia, after ASEAN, China and the United States.
