Presidential Candidates and Vice-Presidents Joko Widodo (Jokowi) -Ma'ruf Amin has so far won in quick count version  of a number of survey institutions. Entrepreneurs in the textile industry who are members of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) have high hopes that Jokowi can boost exports of the textile industry.

API Chairman Ade Sudrajat said that he expects exports of textile products in the next 10 years to reach US $ 35 billion. For that the new government in the next 5 years must be able to help realize it.

"Yes, of course we will export, perhaps reaching US $ 35 billion in the next 10 years," he said

This export will later contribute to foreign exchange. However, many efforts must be made by the government of the 2019-2024 period.

According to him, Jokowi must complete the affairs of a cooperation agreement with countries in the world to increase Indonesia's exports.

"Of course, the foundation for getting greater foreign exchange from Indonesia in terms of exports, of course, we hope, in the second period, Jokowi can lay the foundation of trade with the EU (European Union) and of course America," he explained.

He also believes that Jokowi's promise to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in the future is expected to increase competitiveness globally, including in the textile industry.

"The foundation laid out by Mr. Jokowi later is the development of human resources in terms of competence and everything needed by Indonesian people, so that we become competent human beings and fulfill the competitiveness of the world," he added.
