The trade war that took place between the United States and China benefited the textile industry in Central Java. Blessings obtained by the Central Java textile industry with an increase in market demand.

The Chairman of the Indonesian Employers' Association (Apindo) in Central Java, Frans Kongi said that the US-China trade war had little effect on the development of the industry in the country. Nevertheless, specifically the textile industry in Central Java actually increased demand.

"In Central Java it is peaceful, safe, no complaints whatsoever in the business world. Our textile industry is still good, has a market, has good orders. So there is no trade war affected," he said.

It was said, even after this distribution, textile and garment businesses in Central Java had begun to order a lot from abroad, especially the United States. "After the distribution has begun, the relationship with foreign countries is still intertwined, there have been many orders coming in. There are no problems. Textiles are still ok, wood products will also enter more there," he said

He said, it would continue to boost Central Java exports to major countries such as America, Europe and China, which had been the largest textile export market. However, he said, the government also needs to provide a stimulus so that export activities can run more easily, so that the target can be achieved.

"The government needs to open bilateral trade relations to other countries such as in Africa, Latin America, it will be very good because it can get convenience in our exports and vice versa for these countries," he said.
