Workers in 33 companies in Bogor Regency stated that they were ready to oversee Governor Decree No. 561 / kep. 444-Yanbangsos / 2019 concerning Special Minimum Wages for Textile and Textile Products Companies in Bogor Regency.

Although there was a rejection of this Governor's Decree from eight unions or laborers, they stated that they would guard the implementation of the decision., Governor of West Java established a Special UMK for 33 companies in Bogor Regency to save 39 thousand employees from the factory closure.

"In my company, only 10 percent belong to unions. Before the Special UMK Governor Decree was signed, we had an agreement between workers and company management, "said Danuri, a worker at PT Simone Accesary Collection, one of 33 companies that received the special MSE.

He added, more than 76 percent of the 6,000 workers at the company agreed to submit special minimum wages submitted through the Bogor Regent. "We want this company to remain standing, not closed and not relocated. We want to keep earning a living in Bogor, "he said when giving information to reporters at the West Java Disnakertrans Office, Bandung.

The same thing was expressed by Murdoko, Fotexco International Clothing worker. The agreement between workers and companies is done to anticipate the buyer's policies that require wages to be determined through government decisions. "The union should defend us, defend workers, not reject the interests of workers," he said again.

Meanwhile, representatives of the Bogor Regency Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo), Suyoto, said that there were 54 textile and product testil companies in the region. However, there were 33 companies applying for special MSEs. "The origin is 34, but one company cannot continue because it was declared non-compliment by buyers," said Suyoto.
