Industry players consider that the presence of integrated areas is really needed by businesses because of the high logistical costs. The Textile Association (API) states that facilities in the development of integrated industrial estates are the key to attracting industry players to enter an area.

The association considers that the sewage treatment system and independent gas power plant is one that is considered important for the textile industry and textile products (TPT).

"Plus if there are upstream, intermediate and downstream industries. That is definitely good. "In the industrial area all facilities are complete and complete from upstream to downstream, it is definitely efficient," API Secretary General Ernovian G. Ismy.

Regarding logistics costs, Ernovian said that the price front must be open. According to him, one of the logistics systems that can be emulated is Cikarang Dry Port which is located in Jababeka Industrial Estate. But according to him, the initiation of the development of the industrial estate must start from the government.

Previously, President Joko Widodo had offered to establish a textile industry center in Central Java, precisely in Brebes and Tegal. Responding to the offer, industry players asked the government to encourage the establishment of the center by providing several facilities, particularly waste processing facilities.

Chairperson of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) Ade Sudrajat previously said President Jokowi offered that the TPT manufacturing center be established in Tegal. According to him, the land prepared in Tegal is 42 hectares. In addition, Ade suggested that the factory building's service life be extended to 50 years.

Corporate Secretary of PT Pan Brothers Tbk. Iswar Deni considers the election of Central Java as the center of the textile industry is a good step. According to him, the transfer of the TPT industrial center from West Java to Central Java could strengthen the competitiveness and carrying capacity of the national TPT.

"TPT, especially the process of producing textiles to garments, can quickly return its investment. TPT has also been determined to be one of the leading sectors, "he told.

Iswar said the TPT industry is a labor-intensive industry that is in accordance with the conditions of the domestic workforce. It has set up factories in Central Java, precisely in Boyolali, Sragen, and Ungaran.
