Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) of Central Java, Liliek Setiawan, said that textiles are Indonesia's number one export outside of oil and gas and have contributed to economic growth in 2019. That was said by Liliek when he was the moderator in the National Texture Industry Ecosystem Harmonization Dialogue with Iwan S. Lukminto at the Diamond Solo Convention Center (DSCC).

"Textile is the number one export of Indonesia outside oil and gas and contributed USD 28 billion in 2018. We are the only industry in 2019 which contributed 18.5 percent growth. We are extraordinary superteam," said Liliek.

In the event, Liliek also supported the nomination of Boss Sritex, Iwan S. Lukminto as API Chairperson in 2020.

Liliek said that Iwan Lukminto was suitable to be the Ketum API of Indonesia because Central Java would be the investment lord.

"Why does Iwan Setiawan Lukminto fit into the chair of API Indonesia. When will our chairman be from Solo? And it feels easier if we have unstable things right away," joked Lilike.

"Second, because Central Java will be the lord of investment or vital point. So we need a chairman from Central Java," Liliek continued.

Liliek also gave praise to Iwan who had undergone Lemhanas for 6 months but was still able to take care of his company.

"It's amazing that Pak Iwan joined Lemhanas, because it was extraordinary because he had to be quarantined for 6 months. In fact he had a large company that had to be managed, extraordinary," said Liliek.
