International Garment Buyers and national garment producers will immediately meet in Indotextiles Business Meeting at Peninsula Hotel Jakarta on Wednesday (10/12). So far this time, 13 international garment buyers have confirmed to attend in the event initiated by Indotextiles. “The 12 international buyers will come are Ames Indah International, Linmark Westman, Buana Garmen, Surfer Girl, Walmart, Lifung, Toyoshima, Kaybea, Textine, Liz Claiborne, Lee Cooper, and Artamenara Interindo,” The Executive Director of Indotextiles Redma Gita Wirawasta said on Friday (5/12).
Meanwhile, the local garment producers will attend are PT Bina Busa Internusa, PT Tanah Tinggi Garmindo, PT Giri Asih Indah, PT Inkosindo, CV Endang Aji Garment, PT Karusel, PT Kreasindo Adibusana, PT Inti Sukses Garmindo, PT Eka Sandang, PT Cedratex, PT Sutera Indah, PT Sun Gintex, PT Toyobo Knitting Indonesia, PT Royal Anugerah Textile, PT Plumbon International Textile, PT National Lebel, PT Bhineka Karya Manunggal, PT DOW Singapore, and PT Dua Sekawan Respati. ”I am sure that the number of buyers and producers will come in the event will increase, and we are still waiting for their confirmation” he explained. A seminar will complete Link and Match Program to discuss Impact of The Global Economic Condition to the World Textile and Apparel Business Trend 2009. In the Link and Match Program, the discussion will focus on report on textile industry performance 2008 and overview on textile business in 2008. In the same time, there would also discussion on the structural change of the textile market demand as impact of the global economic crisis by Vice President Li & Fung Indonesia, Mr Mukhtar Ahmed. The program is continued by Business-to-Business Session between buyers and garment producers. Link and Match akan diisi seminar yang akan membahas Impact of The Global Economic Condition to the World Textile and Apparel Business Tren 2009 yang akan membahas report kinerja industri TPT (tekstil dan produk tekstil) 2008 dan overview iklim bisnis TPT 2008. Selain itu akan dibahas pula perubahan strategi sourcing buying agent dalam menghadapi resesi ekonomi global oleh Vice President Li & Fung Indonesia, Mr Mukhtar Ahmed. Acara dilanjutkan dengan sesi business to business antara buyer dan produsen garmen. |
