Worries of the majority entrepreneurs due to the impact of the corona virus asked the government to impose tax breaks, postponement of electricity bills, and reduce loan interest rates. Until now it still could not be predicted when the end of this flu-like virus.

As a result, Chairperson of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) Jemmy Kartiwa spoke out by asking the government to relax the financing of the textile industry so that the company's cash flow would not stall.

"We also ask for stimulus for working capital to keep producing so it does not become a layoff," he said.

There is no specific policy from the government to answer the entrepreneurs' requests. However, earlier in a teleconference with governors throughout Indonesia, President Jokowi announced a number of his strategies to deal with economic shocks caused by the corona virus.

The promised work card program during the 2019 presidential election campaign was claimed by Jokowi to overcome this risk.

"The pre-employment card implementation will begin soon, the anticipation of the pre-employment workers who are laid off, daily workers who have lost their income and micro-entrepreneurs who have lost their turnover," Jokowi said.

It was also mentioned that a budget of Rp10 trillion would be prepared.

"A budget of Rp10 trillion has been prepared so that the provinces can support this, who should be given the data well," he said.
