Thousands of Bulgarians Enjoy Textiles and Crafts RI

Exhibition of Fabric "Nusantara" such as batik, songket weaving is collection of Rumah Pesona Kain, Indonesian Batik Foundation, plus personal collection Sofia. The exhibition features archipelago ancient jewelry fairs and Indonesian handicrafts.

 

At the same time, the Indonesian Art Exhibition has been held at National Art Gallery: Palace on October 6 - November 12, 2017. In this exhibition will be filled 10 works of Indonesian painters maestro collection of National Gallery of Indonesia (GNI) including painting boats by Afandi. The selected works of the GNI consist of paintings from Popo Iskandar, A.D. Pirous, Fadjar Sidik, Nyoman Arsana, Batara Lubis, I Ketut Tagen, Sentot, Hatta Hambali, and Mulyadi. It will also feature some paintings, sketches, installations and sculptures by Indonesian artists such as Sri Astari Rasjid, Dolorosa Sinaga, Sunaryo, and others.

 

Both exhibits have been officially closed on November 12 and 26, 2017. In general, this exhibition is well received by the local public and the international community living in Sofia. This is partly due to the fact that only a small portion of the Bulgarian community has ever come directly to Indonesia and the limited exhibition of Indonesian arts and crafts in Bulgaria. Visitors are amazed by the diversity of fabrics and crafts of the archipelago and recognize the beauty of Indonesian culture and art.

 

Ribuan Warga Bulgaria Nikmati Seni, Tekstil dan Kerajinan RI

 

Pameran kain, kerajinan dan perhiasan Indonesia telah berlangsung di National Art Gallery: Square 500 pada tanggal 6 Oktober – 26 November 2017. Pameran berbagai Kain Nusantara mulai dari batik, songket tenun merupakan koleksi Rumah Pesona Kain, Yayasan batik Indonesia, ditambah koleksi pribadi Dubes RI Sofia. Pameran ini dilengkapi pameran perhiasan kuno nusantara dan kerajinan Indonesia.

 

Pada saat bersamaan, Pameran Seni Rupa Indonesia telah berlangsung di National Art Gallery : Palace pada tanggal 6 Oktober – 12 November 2017. Pada pameran ini akan diisi 10 karya maestro pelukis Indonesia koleksi Galeri Nasional Indonesia (GNI) termasuk lukisan perahu-perahu karya Afandi. Karya-karya terpilih GNI terdiri dari lukisan dari Popo Iskandar, A.D. Pirous, Fadjar Sidik, Nyoman Arsana, Batara Lubis, I Ketut Tagen, Sentot, Hatta Hambali, dan Mulyadi. Selain itu juga akan ditampilkan beberapa lukisan, sketsa, instalasi, dan patung karya seniman-seniman Indonesia seperti Sri Astari Rasjid, Dolorosa Sinaga, Sunaryo, dan lain-lain.

 

Kedua pameran tersebut telah ditutup secara resmi pada tanggal 12 dan 26 November 2017. Secara umum, pameran ini mendapat sambutan yang sangat baik dari publik setempat dan masyarakat internasional yang tinggal di Sofia. Hal ini diantaranya mengingat hanya sebagian kecil masyarakat Bulgaria yang pernah datang langsung ke Indonesia dan masih terbatasnya pameran seni dan kerajinan Indonesia di Bulgaria. Pengunjung kagum dengan beragamnya kain dan kerajinan nusantara dan mengakui keindahan budaya dan seni Indonesia.​
