Kadin Government Appreciates Connectivity

The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) expressed its appreciation to the government that seeks to build infrastructure to strengthen connectivity.

 

"We know that we have been lagging behind and to catch up with this must be done infrastructure development not only in one sector, such as toll roads or Ports only, but as a whole," said Chairman Kadin Rosan P Roeslani met at Raffles Hotel.

 

According to Rosan, infrastructure development must be done throughout Indonesia to state economic development and prosperity.

 

He emphasized that the positive impact of infrastructure development is not only felt in the short term, but a significant long term for economic equity.

 

"Of course, infrastructure development is more focused in reducing logistics costs so that logistics and business centers can be prioritized for infrastructure development," said Roslan.

 

President Joko Widodo has attended an iftar with Kadin at Raffles Hotel along with 150 orphans.

 

In the event, Kadin also presented Jubaidi, a garbage collector in Yogyakarta, who was willing to return his invention money of Rp20.1 million.

 

Jubaidi also took advantage of his meeting with the Head of State to ask for handshakes and photographed together.

 

 

Kadin Apresiasi Pemerintah Perkuat Konektivitas

 

Kamar Dagang dan Industri (KADIN) Indonesia menyampaikan apresiasi kepada pemerintah yang berupaya membangun infrastruktur memperkuat konektivitas.

 

"Kita tahu bahwa kita selama ini banyak tertinggal dan untuk mengejar ketertinggalan ini memang harus dilakukan pembangunan infrastruktur tidak hanya di satu sektor, misalnya jalan tol saja atau Pelabuhan saja, tapi memang secara keseluruhan," kata Ketua Kadin Rosan P Roeslani ditemui di Hotel Raffles, Jakarta pada Senin (4/6/2018).

 

Menurut Rosan, pembangunan infrastruktur mutlak harus dilakukan di seluruh wilayah Indonesia untuk memeratakan pembangunan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan.

 

Ia menegaskan dampak positif pembangunan infrastruktur tidak hanya dirasakan dalam jangka pendek, melainkan jangka panjang yang signifikan untuk pemerataan ekonomi.

 

"Tentunya dalam pembangunan infrastruktur ini, tentunya lebih difokuskan dalam rangka menekan biaya logistik. Jadi untuk sentra-sentra logistik dan bisnis itu bisa lebih diberikan prioritas dalam rangka pembangunan infrastruktur," ujar Roslan.

 

Presiden Joko Widodo telah menghadiri buka puasa bersama Kadin di Hotel Raffles bersama dengan 150 anak yatim piatu.

 

Dalam acara itu, Kadin juga menghadirkan Jubaidi, seorang tukang pengumpul sampah di Yogyakarta, yang rela mengembalikan uang temuannya sebesar Rp20,1 juta.

 

Jubaidi pun memanfaatkan pertemuannya dengan Kepala Negara untuk meminta jabatan tangan dan berfoto bersama.
