The textile company of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL) recorded a loss of the current year that could be attributed to the owner of the company's parent entity until the third quarter of this year to US $ 147.7 million. The loss fell 84.01% from the same period in 2021 which was US $ 924 million. Citing the disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the Company managed to reduce the loss even though sales until the end of September 2022 fell 25.58% to US $ 474.17 million compared to the same period last year of US $ 637.1 million.

Sales fell, the cost of goods sold also dropped by 22.6% to US $ 638.9 million on an annual basis from US $ 826.2 million. Thus, the company's gross loss in the third quarter was US $ 164.8 million to compared to last year's achievements of US $ 189.1 million.

The Company's losses shrink because other revenues until the third quarter of this year jumped to US $ 94.14 million from an annual basis from only US $ 620 thousand.

So the company managed to reduce the loss from the operation to US $ 144.08 million from the previous US $ 881.37 million. The financial burden also shrank to US $ 656 thousand from US $ 47.19 million. So that the current period loss to US $ 147.76 from the previous US $ 924.5 million.

The liabilities in the third quarter dropped to US $ 1.59 billion, from US $ 1.63 billion at 31 December 2021.
