PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL) managed to record sales of IDR 461.85 billion or an increase of 8% in 2022. BELL achieved this increase in sales amidst the challenges of rising inflation which undermined people's purchasing power throughout 2022. As a listed textile manufacturer for clothing materials including uniforms and quality fashion, it supports the government's call to campaign for the purchase of domestic products. Therefore, supported by local BELL textile products which are well known under the Bellini and Caterina brands, will also encourage an increase in BELL's revenue in 2022.

Main Director of BELL, Karsongno Wongso Djaja explained, the situation in 2022 which was full of challenges, the company managed to achieve positive sales growth.

"We hope that the government's campaign to buy and use domestic products will help stimulate the domestic industry, in particular, will be able to encourage increased sales of the company's products," said Karsongno Wongso Djaja, Friday (24/3/2023).

In 2022, the company recorded a net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of IDR 2.66 billion, an increase of nearly 9% from IDR 2.45 billion in the same period the previous year.

Meanwhile, the cost of goods sold rose 4% to Rp 321.51 billion compared to the previous year.

The company's sales in the domestic market grew 9% to Rp443.89 billion or contributed 96% of total sales. Export sales were recorded at IDR 17.96 billion or 4% of total sales.

Meanwhile, if we break down the sales performance per segment in the fourth quarter of 2022, there are several segments that experienced extraordinary growth in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the third quarter of 2022, including the uniform segment (B2B sales) which increased by 154% and the retail segment (clothing sales). with the JOBB and Jack Nicklaus brands) increased by 34%.

"To encourage increased sales, the company continues to actively add retail stores, along with efforts to strengthen sales through digital platforms to increase sales turnover and expand the network," he said.
