Trisula Group, which owns integrated textile and garment shares in two public companies, namely PT Trisula International Tbk (TRIS) and PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL), continues to aggressively market its local products through retail products and customized orders. TRIS and BELL through their expertise in customized orders as local textile and garment manufacturers have already existed in both the domestic and international markets. In addition, BELL is also active in marketing its retail products, namely JOBB and Jack Nicklaus.

Santoso Widjojo as the President Director of TRIS said that his party is grateful to be a global textile and garment producer that has been widely known for its quality products.

"This is evidenced by the export sales growth in 2021 of 14.1%, which focuses on the market share of Australia, Japan, England, America, New Zealand, and so on. This is certainly inseparable from our efforts to continue to make quality products and continue to innovate so that they can be trusted and able to compete in the global market," he said, Wednesday (6/4).

The products that TRIS relies on consist of trousers, jackets, functional clothing, and protective wear. Meanwhile, in 2021, TRIS achieved sales of Rp. 1 trillion or experienced a slight correction of 3.8% YoY. On the other hand, in 2021 TRIS recorded an operating profit of Rp43.8 billion, an increase of 30.5% YoY and a profit attributable to the parent of Rp4.7 billion, an increase of 144.0% YoY.

TRIS also saw an increase in each of its businesses in 2021, namely manufacturing increased 6.8% YoY, distribution increased 3.3% YoY, and retail increased 5.2% YoY.

On the other hand, throughout 2021, BELL also managed to increase retail sales to Rp84.5 billion, up 12.1% YoY compared to the previous year. BELL's retail products consist of apparel with the JOBB and Jack Nicklaus brands which have been marketed in various strategic areas in Indonesia.

JOBB is a local product brand owned by BELL itself, which consists of suits, formal pants, casual clothes, shirts, and so on. Through the JOBB brand, BELL innovates by making Healthy Jackets made of special fabrics for the new normal era with anti-microbial, waterproof, and breathable features. Then, there is also a licensed Jack Nicklaus brand which is more focused on producing casual clothes.

“BELL is proud to be able to make its own local products which have received a lot of positive responses from the community. We continue to look for opportunities by making various innovations. Not long ago BELL was also selected as the winner of the best innovation at the WOW Innovation Award 2021 by winning 3 awards at once. Starting from smart working, managing Wastewater Treatment Plants (IPAL), and implementing new methods in dyeing fabrics. In the future, we believe that the textile and textile product industry will improve and BELL will be able to achieve even better performance," said R Nurwulan Kusumawati, Director of BELL.

For information, in 2021, BELL obtained sales of Rp. 428.2 billion. Even though it was corrected from the previous period, on the other hand BELL had a growth in operating profit of 106.3% YoY.

This is due to various efficiencies carried out by BELL throughout 2021. BELL also achieved an increase in profit attributable to parent by 115.3% YoY. Then, as an effort to expand local products in the international market, in 2021 BELL also succeeded in increasing export sales by 40.9% YoY.

On the other hand, TRIS and BELL are also active in marketing their products in an omnichannel manner, namely online and offline. TRIS and BELL see the opportunities that exist both offline retail which is recovering and online which continues to be in great demand by the public. For example, in 2021 TRIS will create an integrated E-commerce platform with Trisula Group, namely Yukshopping.com.

"In the future, we are optimistic that we will continue to improve our performance with the various innovations and expertise we have, including that we will continue to support the Government to aggressively introduce local products," concluded Santoso.
